At Sew Mojo, we are dedicated to providing enriching and memorable experiences through our sewing workshops and classes. Our company policies reflect our commitment to professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service. These policies ensure that every interaction with Sew Mojo, whether you're attending a class, organizing an event, or partnering with us, is conducted with clarity, fairness, and respect.

Cancellation Policy: At Sew Mojo, we understand that plans can change. For class registration cancellations we require a notice period of at least 48 hours for individual participants. This allows us to accommodate others who may be on our waiting list. Cancellations made within these timelines will receive a full refund or credit towards a future session.

For private events, cancellations made more than 14 days before the event are eligible for a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations made 7-14 days before the private event are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

For private instruction, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the appointment, minus a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 72 hours and more than 24 before a private event are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the the appointment are non-refundable. Cancellations made outside of these timelines may result in a forfeiture of fees paid, unless under extraordinary circumstances approved by Sew Mojo management.

Attendance Policy: We value punctuality and full participation in our sessions, workshops, and events. Participants are expected to arrive on time and remain for the duration of the scheduled activity unless prior arrangements have been made. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time to ensure that all participants receive the full benefit of the program. Regular attendance ensures continuity and maximizes learning opportunities for all involved.

Code of Conduct: Sew Mojo is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for all participants, instructors, and staff. We expect everyone to treat each other with courtesy, consideration, and professionalism. Disruptive behavior, harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated. Participants are encouraged to engage positively, respect differences, and contribute constructively to the learning atmosphere. Instructors and staff uphold these standards and have the authority to address violations promptly and appropriately.

Health and Safety Standards: Ensuring the health and safety of our participants, instructors, and staff is paramount at Sew Mojo. We adhere to strict protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment, which includes regular sanitation of equipment and high-touch surfaces. Specific measures related to COVID-19 are implemented in accordance with local health guidelines, such as mask-wearing, social distancing, and capacity limits. Participants are required to follow these guidelines to mitigate risks and promote a healthy learning environment.

Equipment Use: Participants using Sew Mojo’s equipment are responsible for its proper use, care, and return in the condition it was provided. Instructions for equipment use will be provided by our instructors, and participants must adhere to safety guidelines at all times. Any damage caused by misuse or negligence may result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the responsible party.

Payment Terms: Accepted payment methods at Sew Mojo include credit/debit cards and electronic transfers. Invoices are issued promptly upon booking and payment is due within 14 days unless otherwise specified. Late payments may incur a penalty fee of 1.5% per month until settled. Payment terms for customized services or larger events will be outlined in contractual agreements.

Privacy Policy: Sew Mojo respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with data protection laws. We collect personal information, such as names, contact details, and payment information, solely for the purpose of processing bookings and improving our services. This information is securely stored and only accessed by authorized personnel. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for operational purposes.

Complaints and Grievances: We are committed to addressing and resolving any complaints or grievances promptly and fairly. Participants or clients with concerns are encouraged to communicate directly with Sew Mojo management or designated personnel. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and investigated thoroughly. Resolutions, including corrective actions if necessary, will be communicated in a timely manner to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction.

Partnership and Collaboration: Sew Mojo values partnerships with schools, non-profits, businesses, and individuals to deliver tailored workshops and events. Expectations and responsibilities, including roles, deliverables, and timelines, will be outlined in contractual agreements. Procedures for termination will be conducted in accordance with contractual agreements or employment policies, ensuring fairness and due process for all parties involved.
