FAQs for Students
What should I bring to a Sew Mojo class?
When attending Sew Mojo classes, please check the class description for specific materials required for your project. In addition to your sewing materials, we recommend bringing water to stay hydrated and, most importantly, a positive attitude ready for creativity and learning. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned sewist, our classes are designed to inspire and equip you for a rewarding sewing experience.
What is your cancellation policy?
At Sew Mojo, we understand that plans can change. For regular classes, we kindly request that students notify us of any cancellations at least 36 hours prior to the scheduled class to receive a full refund or credit towards a future session. Private events require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Please note that if your class was booked through one of our partners, we adhere to their specific cancellation policies. This policy helps us ensure that all our students and instructors can plan effectively and enjoy a seamless experience with Sew Mojo.
Are sewing machines provided, or should I bring my own?
At Sew Mojo, we provide sewing machines for both our classroom sessions and private events. If you prefer to learn on your own machine, you are welcome to bring it along. Please note that while we accommodate personal machines, Sew Mojo accepts no liability for any damage caused to external machines, and ensuring its care and maintenance remains the responsibility of the owner.
Do you offer classes for children or teens?
Our adult classes at Sew Mojo are open to individuals aged 14 and above, providing a welcoming environment for teens and adults alike to explore their creativity through sewing. For younger enthusiasts, we offer child-themed events suitable for children aged 8 and above. Additionally, we partner with schools and non-profit organizations to deliver tailored educational programs. Looking to celebrate a special occasion?
